Arizona Capitol Times: Artistic freedom for all is a First Amendment right that needs protection
Every person can think of beliefs they cannot in good conscience promote. For some, it might center around immigration, gun ownership, or animal rights. For others, it may be political or religious in nature. But in Phoenix, Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski face jail and criminal fines if they operate their art studio consistent with their beliefs. The Freedom From Religion Foundation might have bitten off more than it can chew in its recent complaint against a 9/11 memorial in a small-town courthouse. While the FFRF is known for picking on small towns that don't have the resources to put up a fight, many citizens of Camden County, Missouri, expressed their desire to defend the memorial in any way they can. As Todd Starnes of Fox News writes, the law may well be on their side.

Not everything is sunshine and rainbows in the LGBT camp. A group of lesbian feminists is outraged at the addition of transgender ideology to feminist and lesbian causes, saying that biology is essential to femaleness. Other LGBT activists are labeling these women as "radical" and doing everything they can to silence their protests.

For an organization that claims to be pro-woman, Planned Parenthood sure treats its female employees badly. According to a recent New York Times report, the abortion giant routinely discriminates against employees who are pregnant or likely to become pregnant. The alleged mistreatment would be staggering at any organization, but Planned Parenthood’s typical claim that they are pro-woman underscores the bombshell’s importance.
