E.B. v. West Shore School District

Summary

School officials at Crossroads Middle School ordered a student to turn a shirt that read “Abortion is not Healthcare” inside-out because it was deemed to be potentially “insulting” to others. The student wore the shirt on the day of President Obama’s nationwide public address to students. Other students at the school were permitted to wear a wide variety of messages on their clothing without incident.
