Larry Dombrowski, an employee at the Federal Aviation Administration, was reprimanded and suspended for seven days after peacefully expressing his religious belief to unoffended coworkers. In 2006, ADF filed a federal civil rights lawsuit on behalf of Dombrowski. The FAA later resulted in the restoration of Dombrowski's record as an employee and ensured that his First Amendment rights will be respected.
