Summary

The Colorado Commission on Higher Education denied Colorado Christian University’s application for state-funded student financial aid, stating that the school was “pervasively sectarian.” The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit ruled that Colorado officials violated the Constitution by excluding CCU and its students from the program.
