Dalton Nichols

Dalton Nichols serves as legal counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom’s Center for Parental Rights. Nichols joined ADF in 2024 as a litigation fellow. Prior to that, Nichols served as a law clerk for Judge Damon R. Leichty on the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana.

Nichols earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Regent University School of Law in 2022. During his time at Regent Law, Nichols served as the editor-in-chief of the Regent University Law Review and competed as a member of Regent Law’s Moot Court Board. Nichols earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Pensacola Christian College in 2019, with an emphasis on pre-law studies. He is a 2021 Blackstone Fellow and a member of the Indiana bar.
