PLANO, Texas – With three decades of legal expertise and 10 offices around the world, Alliance Defending Freedom will hold the official grand opening of its newest office in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area Wednesday.
“ADF is growing and advancing on new fronts to meet this moment of opportunity and ensure the God-given right to live and speak the truth is upheld,” said ADF CEO, President, and Chief Counsel Kristen Waggoner. “Texas has long been a key part of ADF’s strategy. For years, we have litigated precedent-setting cases in Texas courts, worked with state lawmakers to advance key policy goals, and served Texas churches. This is an exciting day as we deepen our presence in Texas by setting down permanent roots and giving our Texas-based team a home.”
ADF has more than 450 team members around the globe, 25 of whom are based in Texas. ADF is committed to winning in Texas in both the litigation and public policy spaces. This already includes successful legal challenges to several Biden Administration rules, such as the Title IX rule redefining “sex” to include “gender identity”; the emergency room abortion mandate; and the pharmacy abortion drug mandate. ADF also represents individuals whose fundamental rights have been trampled, including the former City of Austin Fire Department Chaplain and Houston parents whose school district supported secret gender transitions.
In addition, ADF has partnered with Texas officials, legislators, and state allies to engage on key legislation, including laws that safeguard women’s sports, protect women against abortion drug trafficking, promote women’s safety and privacy, and expand parental rights and freedom in education.
