Planned Parenthood of Texas Surgical Health Services v. Abbott

Last Updated 6/2/2020

Planned Parenthood is challenging a state of Texas abortion law. The provisions currently at issue are (1) a requirement that abortionists have admitting privileges at a local hospital so that they cannot escape post-operative emergency care of their patients, and (2) a requirement that abortion-inducing drugs be administered according to the protocol authorized by the Food and Drug Administration in most situations.
