North Pointe Church in Binghamton, N.Y., was informed that it would no longer be permitted to meet on the campus of Broome Community College after officials invoked a ban on "religious services." Several members of the public complained to the college about a church meeting in a public facility. In 2009, ADF attorneys reached a favorable settlement with BCC that allowed North Pointe Church equal access to campus facilities.
