Farnsworth v. City of Mulvane

Summary

Armed police officers escorted Jacque Farnsworth, a Christian woman, from a Mulvane City Council after she attempted to respectfully address the council during a time of public questions. After peacefully expressing opposition to a construction project involving casinos, Farnsworth was informed by the mayor that she was out of order. Her removal came immediately after the council heard presentations by Harrah's and MGM/Foxwoods Development Company in favor of the project.
