Litigation and Appellate Fellowships

ADF Fellowships are year-long, full-time programs for recent JD graduates, preferably those with judicial clerkship experience. Applications are accepted each year between October 1 and December 31 for Fellowships beginning the following fall. Fellows serve from September through August. Litigation Fellows focus on constitutional cases in federal district courts, while Appellate Fellows support appeals in federal circuit courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Law Student Summer Internship

Our Law Student Summer Internship is an eight- to ten-week program for outstanding law students with a passion for religious liberty, the protection of life, and the defense of the family. Interns gain hands-on experience in research, case development, advocacy, and litigation as part of the ADF Legal Advocacy Team. The program is ideal for rising 2L and 3L students, includes a stipend, and is coordinated with the Blackstone Legal Fellowship. Applications are accepted each year between December 1 and January 31.

Undergraduate Internships

Our internships offer current college students the opportunity to contribute across various teams, including legal, communications, media, and more, while gaining valuable professional experience.
