General Guidelines
You are prohibited from posting on or transmitting through the website any threatening, obscene, unlawful, defamatory, libelous, scandalous, inflammatory, or pornographic material, or any material that could promote conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, otherwise violate any law, or is contrary to the core values of ADF.
Every reasonable attempt is made for accuracy, but some information specified in or accessible through the website may be compiled or produced by someone other than and beyond the control of the staff of ADF and may not be fully complete or accurate. Consequently, ADF cannot and does not endorse or represent the reliability or accuracy of all of the content or information distributed through or accessed from the website. You hereby agree that your reliance upon any content or information distributed through or accessed from the website is at your sole risk.
Not Legal Advice
Opinions, editorials, and general educational information related to legal concepts, events that provide context for discussing legal principles, legislation, and administrative and judicial rulings are contained on websites maintained by ADF, but the information does not constitute legal advice. The information is provided in general terms and for the limited purpose of informing the public and contributing to public discourse. Anyone seeking legal advice is encouraged to personally consult with a licensed attorney as soon as possible to prevent a loss of legal rights or legal recourse due to the passage of time.
ADF permits unsolicited information related to legal services to be submitted via its website, but submitting a request for legal assistance or providing information that may pertain to a legal matter does not create an attorney-client relationship nor does it obligate ADF to establish or undertake consideration of an attorney-client relationship. You understand and agree that you have not entered into an attorney-client relationship with ADF by submitting a request for legal assistance, that ADF does not represent you, and that no representations have been made indicating that ADF will undertake the legal representation of any party in the matter described. You understand that information provided may be shared with third parties to determine whether ADF or a Network Attorney may represent a party in the matter without coming into conflict with the interests of their existing clients and that submitting unsolicited information does not necessarily impose a duty of confidentiality. If ADF, in its sole discretion, agrees to undertake legal representation on any particular matter, that agreement must be set forth in a separate written document.
