A STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF DANIEL GRAND AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

I, the undersigned, stand with Daniel Grand and people of faith throughout this nation.

I affirm the constitutional right for all Americans to hold peaceful, private prayer gatherings in their own homes without meddling or harassment from government officials.

I condemn the city of University Heights’s decision to unlawfully demand that Daniel Grand treat his home as a “place of religious assembly,” requiring a permit to hold a small, private prayer gathering. 

I further condemn the city’s use of harassment and intimidation tactics to ensure that Daniel Grand complies with the unlawful order.

I stand by the United States Constitution, and I will defend the right to religious freedom enshrined within it.

I commit to praying for Daniel Grand and all those fighting for their religious liberty.
