Parents have the God–given right to direct their children’s upbringing. That includes making critical decisions about their education, healthcare, and well-being.

That right does NOT belong to activist organizations, government officials, or anyone else.

Advocates for Youth is taking over a job that belongs to parents. Its school curriculum, “Rights, Respect, and Responsibility,” exposes kids to extremely graphic, explicit sexual material.

  • Kindergarteners are being taught how to name and identify human genitalia.
  • First-graders learn about sexual reproduction.
  • Second-graders are shown explicit drawings of naked children.

These are sensitive topics. Parents should decide when and how their children learn about them. This material does not belong in schools—and certainly not without parental consent and notification.

I’m signing to tell Advocates for Youth: STOP pushing the “Rights, Respect, and Responsibility” program in schools. Schools must be open with parents, get their permission first, and keep lessons appropriate for each child’s age.
