Mercer Martin
Legal Counsel
Mercer Martin serves as legal counsel for the Center for Free Speech at Alliance Defending Freedom, where he works to defend free speech and combat global censorship and coercion.
Martin joined ADF in 2023 as a litigation fellow. Before joining ADF, he was a law clerk for Judge Kathryn C. Davis of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and Judge Robert L. Jones of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Martin earned his J.D. cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis and his B.S. in agricultural communications summa cum laude from Missouri State University. Martin is admitted to practice in Arizona.
