Mallory A. Schuit
Senior Counsel
Mallory A. Schuit serves as Senior Counsel on the Corporate Counsel team at Alliance Defending Freedom. In this role, she is a strategic legal advisor on complex workforce matters, data compliance issues, and other legal representation matters.
Before joining ADF in 2026, Schuit served as an in-house civil attorney for Tarrant County, Texas. In that role, she advised elected officials and department heads regarding a variety of legal issues, with an emphasis on employment law. Schuit previously spent eleven years at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP as a civil litigator and as associate firm counsel. She was named a Texas “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2018-2021 and is a Barrister member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court.
Schuit attended Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English, magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law, summa cum laude, where she served on the executive board of the Texas Tech Law Review. Schuit is a Blackstone Fellow and is admitted to practice in Texas state courts, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Northern and Eastern District Courts of Texas.
