Legal Counsel
Jaelyn Haile serves as legal counsel for the Church and Ministry Alliance with Alliance Defending Freedom. In this role, she serves churches and ministries by providing them with educational resources and legal counsel necessary to fulfill their religious missions.
Before serving as legal counsel, Haile joined ADF as a Lawyer Fellow for one year. She brings prior legal experience from interning for several Christian nonprofits and a federal magistrate judge.
Haile earned her J.D., with honors, from Regent University School of Law in 2024. There, she published her Note, “Unshackling Student Speech,” in the Journal for Global Justice and Public Policy, served as a Managing Editor for the same, and met her husband, Jonathan Haile.
Haile obtained her B.A., summa cum laude, in Christian Theology and Apologetics from Liberty University in 2021. There, she was awarded the Class of 2021 “Theology Award” from the Rawlings School of Divinity for excellence in theological studies.
