Benefits of Using a Donor-Advised Fund

Establish a DAF with a single donation and make additional donations later if you wish, giving yourself flexibility in future grants to fulfill your charitable goals.
Make a tax-deductible contribution this year to offset increased income, and distribute from the DAF to the ministries of your choice over future years.
Segment your charitable funds from your other assets in a tax-advantaged way.
Most DAFs will accept assets beyond cash and securities, sometimes including real estate, cryptocurrency, or closely held stock. Utilize DAFs to donate more complex non-cash assets that your intended charitable recipient(s) cannot accept.
