Do you know what’s really happening in your child’s school?

Imagine discovering school employees treated your child as the opposite sex without your knowledge or consent. Then, the district took deliberate steps to conceal these actions from you.

How would you respond?

Dan and Jennifer Mead had to withdraw their daughter from the 8th grade after school employees, acting in compliance with Rockford Public School District policy, treated their daughter as if she were a boy. They referred to her by a masculine name and male pronouns without notifying the Meads or seeking their consent.

To cover up their actions, the employees altered the girl’s official records to remove references to the new name and pronouns before sending the records home.

The Meads only discovered the district’s actions when an employee accidentally gave Dan a document that referred to his daughter by the masculine name and male pronouns. The district violated the Meads’ fundamental parental rights by concealing this important information.

Please stand with the Mead family and support their constitutional, God-given right to raise their daughter in accordance with their beliefs.

The Michigan school district must be held accountable for their actions. School districts need to be reminded that parents—not the government—have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing, education, and healthcare of their children.
