Stand with Christian Ministries—Defend Religious Freedom
Religious freedom is a cornerstone of our nation, our first freedom, and at Alliance Defending Freedom, we are committed to protecting it—including by making sure that Christian organizations are free to live out their faith.
Chicago officials discriminated against Moody Bible Institute for its biblical beliefs. Thanks to friends like you, Alliance Defending Freedom defended Moody’s religious freedom—and now Moody remains free to hire people consistent with its faith.
But this fight isn’t over. In fact, another Christian ministry is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to take up its case to protect its right to hire only those who share its beliefs.
Youth 71Five Ministries has been serving young people in Oregon for decades, sharing with them the love of Christ. Government officials deprived the ministry of critical state funds because of its religious beliefs.
If the U.S. Supreme Court grants this case, it could solidify the protections that we saw applied to Moody’s case: Christian ministries MUST be free to hire people consistently with their faith.
But it takes significant resources to carry a case all the way to the Supreme Court. And we’re fighting in other cases across the country to protect ministries facing similar threats to their freedoms.
We never charge our clients a dime for their representation in court—that’s only possible through the generosity of partners like you.
Your tax-deductible gift of $25 or more now protects religious freedom for believers just like you—so that your right to freely live out your faith is secure for years to come.
