Help Defend Christian Parents Discriminated Against for Their Faith

Tens of thousands of children throughout the country need loving and stable families. But the United States is currently facing a shortage of loving foster care and adoptive homes, and the nation is facing a crisis.

Yet officials are putting politics and radical ideology above these kids’ needs.

In states like Vermont, officials are requiring foster parents to agree with the state’s views on radical gender ideology—even if it goes against the parents’ religious beliefs.

The state is turning down those who won’t speak contrary to their beliefs and lie to a child about his or her sex, or who won’t take children to events like Pride parades.

Two families in Vermont are fighting back. The Gantts and Wuotis—who previously have fostered and adopted multiple children through the system—are asking Vermont officials to put kids first and let families live out their God-given calling to care for children in need.

We’ve already scored a victory in a similar case in Oregon, where Jessica Bates was forbidden from adopting children because of her religious beliefs. It’s a critical win—but there’s clearly more work to do.

It’s time to end this religious discrimination everywhere, including Vermont.

These cases are only made possible because of support from friends like you.

Will you make a gift today of any amount to help defend religious liberty and stand up for kids in need?

Thank you for your generosity.
