Help The Babylon Bee in Its Fight Against Government Censorship
For centuries, people have used satire as a way to critique and debate ideas. Satire can take something people usually ignore and encourage them to pay attention and discuss it.
And The Babylon Bee is no exception. Any topic is fair game for The Babylon Bee, including world news, politics, religion, housekeeping, and more. No one person or group is exempt from satire.
The tagline says it all: “Fake news you can trust.”
Hawaii passed a law that censors free speech and targets satirical works online, including social media. The law imposes criminal and civil penalties for posting digitally modified content that risks “harming the reputation or electoral prospects of a candidate in an election or changing the voting behavior of voters in an election.”
This is just one more example of the government overstepping the free speech rights of Americans.
On behalf of The Babylon Bee, Alliance Defending Freedom filed a lawsuit to halt the enforcement of the laws.
We need your voice to help fight back.
