Sign the Statement to Stand for Free Speech

The government has no business punishing Americans for certain speech—free speech is a fundamental right that belongs to all of us, whether government officials agree or disagree.

Steve Melton saw that right trampled on by government officials who FIRED him from the Forrest City, Arkansas, fire department for expressing pro-life views. And, unfortunately, there are numerous other Americans like him facing punishment just for their opinions.

This is unacceptable—free speech must be protected, and officials must be held accountable when they violate this constitutional right.
