• In Washington State, government officials are trying to force religious nonprofits like Yakima Union Gospel Mission to hire people who don’t share its Christian mission.
• In Oregon, the state pulled funding from Youth 71Five Ministries because it seeks to hire only those who share its religious convictions.
• In Oklahoma, the attorney general is seeking to exclude a Catholic school from the state’s charter school program, simply because it’s religious. In April, we defended the state school charter board at the U.S. Supreme Court.
