Stand for free speech in pro-life pregnancy centers

Branches Pregnancy Resource Center focuses on providing resources—physical, emotional, and spiritual—to pregnant women.

They provide food, clothing, diapers, baby toys, high chairs, and parent training classes, along with support groups for those addicted to drugs and alcohol. They’re a pro-life, Christian organization, but they minister to all women in need, regardless of what these women believe.

And now, Vermont’s new law is actively preventing Branches from reaching pregnant women who desperately need their help. Vermont’s law reflects a growing trend of attacks on pregnancy centers around the country since Roe v. Wade was overturned, and the statute violates the free-speech rights of pregnancy centers in the state.

That’s why we’re standing with Branches, one other Vermont pregnancy care center, and a pregnancy center network in a lawsuit to challenge this unconstitutional law.

As a non-profit, we never charge our clients a dime to defend them in court. That means we’re only able to help clients like Jean Marie because of support from generous Americans like you.
