Aufiero v. Northern Highlands

Summary

ADF attorneys agreed to dismiss a lawsuit against the Northern Highlands Regional High School Board of Education after school officials agree to institute a written policy regarding student free speech rights. Aufiero and other members of the school's Christian club were repeatedly thwarted in their attempts to hold Day of Truth-related activities on April 20 in order to coincide with the date of a scheduled club meeting. However, officials continued to support the activities of the Gay-Straight Alliance Club, which expresses support for the homosexual agenda via the Day of Silence event.
