All About That Breech: Shocking New Video Shows Why Planned Parenthood Prefers Babies Feet First

When a baby in the womb presents feet-first, known as the breech position, it's not a good thing. The position raises the odds of complications, and breech babies are often delivered by C-section to try to reduce the chance of injury to the baby.

But to Planned Parenthood abortionists, like Dr. Amna Dermish of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, who is featured in the new undercover video by The Center for Medical Progress, the breech position is something she prefers. Why?

Here are three reasons Planned Parenthood prefers to abort babies feet first.

1. It gives abortionists a better chance to harvest intact baby hearts, livers, and other organs.

I'll let Dr. Dermish explain:

"[Aborted 20-week-old baby] was trunk intact. They’re usually—what I’ll do— if it’s a breech presentation, I’ll remove the extremities first—the lower extremities— and then go for the spine and sort of break it down that way… if it’s a breech presentation.”

The trunk, more commonly known as the torso, contains the organs that are so valuable to baby part buyers. An intact trunk means more organs for sale at $40-60 a pop. Money in the bank.

2. It makes it easier to abort a "20-weeker."

A 20-week-old baby in the womb has a decent-sized head. (Keep in mind that babies not much older than 20 weeks have survived outside of the womb.)   While this great for expectant mothers who want a healthy-sized baby, it's a pain for abortionists who see the baby's head as an obstacle to an easy abortion procedure.

“Often times, it’s hard to get around the cal[varium] (head)...Especially 20-weekers are a lot harder versus the 18-weekers. And so at that point I’ll switch the cal upward to breech... I don't routinely convert to breech, but I will if I have to."

3. It pushes the limits of abortion.

While Dr. Dermish confesses in the video that she's never been able to get an intact brain from an aborted baby before, she does laugh that it's something to "strive for."

An intact head pushes the limits of abortion procedures and baby part harvesting, namely because it is so difficult to do. But in a breech position, it becomes more feasible. Dr. Deborah Nucatola, who actually trained Dr. Dermish, explained this in the very first undercover video.

Just one problem with Planned Parenthood being all about that breech (beyond the obvious baby killing): Converting a baby to the breech position before aborting it, as Dr. Nucatola described, is the first step of the partial birth abortion procedure, which has been illegal since 2003 and is a federal felony punishable by two years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Not to mention, it's illegal to even modify the abortion procedure in any way for the purpose of harvesting intact baby parts.
