Billy Graham walks the streets of gold.
The great evangelist, Billy Graham, has gone to glory. He was 99.

William Franklin Graham, Jr. was a well-known Christian evangelist who preached for more than 60 years, traveling across the country and the world to share the Gospel with millions of people. He founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in 1950, wrote 33 books, and counseled several presidents.
I remember watching him on television when I was a child, and I had the privilege of seeing him preach once at a crusade in Tacoma, WA.
He was a very good man. But he was not a great man because he was good. He was a fantastic and charismatic speaker. But he was not a great man because he was charismatic. He counseled presidents. But he was not a great man because of this either.
Billy Graham was a great man because he understood that every person who ever lived was a sinner in need of a Savior. And with love and compassion for lost people – as we all are or once were – Billy Graham told us the Good News that Jesus came to save sinners.
“My one purpose in life is to help people find a personal relationship with God, which, I believe, comes through knowing Christ,” he said.
He loved people and passionately wanted their highest and best—not just now but for eternity.
We have lost a great man.
