At some point, we’ll all face this question about our faith: Do we really believe?
And if our faith is real, what are we willing to do about it?
The latest film from the creators of God’s Not Dead will come to theaters on March 20th. The movie Do You Believe? follows the intersecting lives of 12 people, all of whom are challenged to reevaluate their faith.
It begins when a pastor is confronted by an old street-corner preacher with the questions: “Do you believe? Then what are you going to do about it?”
The pastor’s response sparks a series of events that impact everyone in ways that leave them forever changed.
What are you willing to give up for your faith? Would you give up your job? Your financial security? Your reputation?
Standing for Christ has cost our clients very dearly – some have endured public smear campaigns against them, some have lost businesses, some have received death threats, others have faced heavy fines, and some have lost their jobs.
Barronelle Stutzman has willingly risked her business, her house, and her savings to stand for her faith. Recently, she was offered a settlement deal from the Attorney General: just $2,000 and your religious freedom. And it would all be over.
She turned it down.
In her letter, she said “Your offer reveals that you don’t really understand me or what this conflict is all about. It’s about freedom, not money. I certainly don’t relish the idea of losing my business, my home, and everything else that your lawsuit threatens to take from my family, but my freedom to honor God in doing what I do best is more important.”
Do You Believe? will challenge you to take a stand for your faith. Go see the movie at a theater near you!
