Douglas Wardlow, Esq., serves as legal counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, where he plays an invaluable role with the Marriage and Family Team.
Since joining ADF in 2014, Wardlow has focused his legal efforts on protecting marriage and family, religious freedom, and freedom of conscience. Prior to joining ADF, Wardlow served as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing a legislative district in his hometown of Eagan. He also spent nearly a decade in private practice as a trial and appellate attorney with firms in Minnesota and the District of Columbia, focusing on commercial, eminent-domain, real-property, and international-trade litigation.
Wardlow earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating cum laude in 2004. He has a B.A. in government and political theory from Georgetown University, graduating magna cum laude in 2001. Wardlow is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and to the bars of Minnesota, the District of Columbia, the federal District Court of Minnesota, the Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 8th, 10th, and federal circuits.
